Aguada looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American John Meeks (197-1999, college: Charleston) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The other American import guard Sheldon Mac (196-1992, college: Miami, FL, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American point guard David Stockton (180-1991, college: Gonzaga) replied with 31 points for Arecibo. Capitanes' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Aguada maintains fifth position with 10-16 record. Arecibo at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. Aguada are looking forward to face Ponce (#6) in Juana Diaz in the next round. Arecibo will play on the road against Quebradillas (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Atleticos' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ponce maintains sixth position with 9-11 record. Loser Atleticos keeps the fourth place with 15 games lost. Ponce will meet at home higher ranked Aguada (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. San German will have a break next round.
In the last two games of round 22 Manati was beaten by Quebradillas on the road 103-96. Guaynabo won against Bayamon on its own court 82-69.
